Back in April 2022, a Government source announced potential proposals that could see the MOT annual check changed to every 2 years. MOT Juice has created this poll to get an understanding from MOT professionals about whether they support this proposal.

There are to many vehicles in a poor state of repair and with the MOT being a at the time of test check (apart from corrosion) even a vehicle that passes might have worn components that would fail 6 months down the line. The average car owner forgets about the mot once it has passed and wait’s another year to see if it passes again
